Adjusting the tension of the toothed belt



PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check the condition of the V-ribbed belt and its location on the pulleys.
  1. Install the belt on the motor pulley in the following order: the generator pulley => pulley power steering pump => Intermediate Pulley => air conditioner compressor pulley => crankshaft pulley
  1. When installing belt pulleys, make sure that it is properly installed in the grooves of the pulley.
  1. Check the location of the edges of the V-ribbed belt pulley groove.
  2. If the V-ribbed belt makes unusual noise, check the belt for wear and damage, as well as working surfaces of pulleys.
  1. Tag tensioning mechanism must be between the position of "*". Otherwise, replace the belt.
