Refitting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
  1. Unscrew the instrument cluster.
  1. Remove the ashtray, then remove the screws fixing the instrument cluster and remove it.
  1. Remove the instrument cluster and disconnect the connectors from the instrument cluster.
  1. Remove the radio.
  2. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.

Cleaning the head and tape drive shaft

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To ensure optimal performance of the tape as necessary, clean the head and the drive shaft. Frequency of cleaning depends on the frequency of use of tape recorder and purity.
  1. To clean the head and the capstan, use a cotton swab dipped in alcohol. Clean the head and shaft.

Speakers

Front speakers

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the front door trim, remove the screws and remove the speaker.
  1. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.

Rear Speakers

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the rear seat.
  1. After removing the clamps, remove the separate upholstery.
  1. Remove the bolts and remove the clips holding the parcel shelf.
  1. Remove the lower mounting bolt rear seat belt.
  1. Remove the rear parcel shelf.
  1. Remove the screws and remove the speaker.
  1. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.

Tweeter

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the front door trim.
  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the tweeter.
  1. Installation is performed in reverse order of removal.

Check speaker

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Ohmmeter to check the resistance of the voice coil speaker.
  1. If you connect an ohmmeter speaker emits a click, then it is OK.
