Wipers and windshield washer



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the cover and turn the wiper arm nuts. Remove the wiper arms.

When removing wiper arms not to scratch the hood.

  1. Remove the cover below the windshield.
  1. Disconnect the connector and remove the engine and pull the wiper. Torque: 7.11 N ??? m.

  1. Adjust the spray nozzle so that they sprayed the liquid in the exact locations on the windshield.

Check

Check conductivity between socket contacts switch of a cleaner and a windscreen washer. If the conductivity does not correspond demanded, replace the switch of a cleaner and a windscreen washer.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the connector from the wiper motor.
  2. Additional wires connect the positive battery terminal to terminal 4 of the connector and the negative terminal - to terminal 1.
  3. Make sure the wiper motor operates at low speed.
  4. Additional wires connect the positive battery terminal to terminal 4 of the connector and the negative terminal - to terminal 2.
  1. Make sure the wiper motor runs at high speed.

Checking the brushes for automatic stop in the initial state

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Start the engine at low speeds.
  2. Disconnect the 3 connectors, stop the engine in any position other than the original.
  3. Connect terminals 1 and 5 of the connector.
  4. Additional wires connect the positive battery terminal to terminal 4 of the connector and the negative terminal - to terminal 3.
  1. Check that the wiper motor is switched off in the starting position of the wiper blades.

Testing the engine washer

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. With the motor connected to the windshield washer tank, fill the washer tank with water.
  2. Additional wires connect the positive terminal of the battery to terminal 2 and the negative terminal - to terminal 1, the engine must be running and the pump to pump water.
