Remove the engine mount bracket side (Fig. 2.9).
Remove the water pump pulley.

The top cover of the timing belt
Fig. 2.10. The top cover of the timing belt

Remove the upper timing belt cover (Fig. 2.10).
Remove the spark plugs.
Move cylinder piston ?1 at TDC compression stroke provernuv crankshaft clockwise.

NOTE
Never turn the crankshaft clockwise to align the mark, as this may lead to incorrect tension the timing belt.

Circuit timing belt
Fig. 2.11. Circuit timing belt

Loosen the screw hinge bracket and the adjusting bolt tensioner pulley (Fig. 2.11).
Turn the crankshaft clockwise so that the camshaft sprocket 2 teeth turned on.

NOTE
Rotation of the camshaft in a position where it does not push the cams of the rocker on the exhaust valves is needed to create the correct belt tension.

Check that ensured the normal engagement of the timing belt with an asterisk (each tooth belt sprocket is located in the groove).

Tightening the screw hinge tensioner
Fig. 2.12. Tightening the screw hinge tensioner

Tighten the adjustment bolt first, then tighten the bolt hinge tensioner (Fig. 2.12).
Check the tension of the timing belt.
Install the spark plugs.
