Check valves radiator cap



Special adapter to connect the radiator cap to the tester

Use the special adapter to connect the radiator cap to the tester (Fig. 2.6).
Increase the pressure up until the gauge needle does not stop (the valve opening pressure).
The opening pressure of the main valve: 83-110 kPa.
The opening pressure of the vacuum valve 7 kPa.
Make sure that the relief pressure of the cover or the standard value, or slightly above it.
Replace the radiator cap when the opening pressure valves below the nominal value.

NOTE
Before testing, make sure that the radiator cap is clean, as rust or other foreign matter on the cover gasket can cause incorrect pressure gauge.
