Check engine oil level

Place the vehicle on level ground.
Warm up the engine.

NOTE
If the car has long been in the parking lot, then warm up the engine for about 20 minutes.

Stop the engine, wait 2-3 minutes and then check the engine oil level.

Dipstick
Fig. 2.1. Dipstick

Check the engine oil level range, indicated on the dipstick engine. If the oil level reaches the minimum value (mark ?L?) or below it, add oil to the mark ?F? (Fig. 2.1).

NOTE
For filling, use the engine oil of a type identical to the type of oil poured into the engine.

Check for the absence of contamination of engine oil or coolant and impurities in the fuel oil. Make sure the engine oil has an appropriate viscosity.
