In the case of the towing vehicle with the front wheels raised, make sure that the parking brake is off.
In the case of the towing vehicle with the rear wheels raised, ensure that the gearbox is in neutral. Also make sure that the ignition switch is in the "ACC" ("Options"). This is necessary to prevent damage to the locking mechanism of the steering wheel, which is not designed to hold the front wheels in the straight position while towing the car. In the event of damage to any of the details of the loaded wheels or suspension is necessary to use the truck for towing.

Do not tow a vehicle equipped with an automatic transmission, rear part of the vehicle forward with the rear wheels raised. This could seriously damage the transmission. If necessary, the rear part of the towing vehicle ahead front wheel must be on the towing carriage. In the case of the towing vehicle with the front wheels raised, make sure that the parking brake is off.

NOTE
Before towing, check the fluid level in automatic transmission. If it is below the "HOT" ("Hot") on the dipstick, add fluid. If it is impossible to add a liquid, it is necessary to use a truck for towing.

In case of emergency towing when you can not use the services of a tow truck, attach the tow rope or chain to the towing hook to one of the bottom front of the vehicle (Fig. 1.154).
Towing in this manner should not be used if damaged wheels, chassis, axles, steering parts, or the brake system. Before towing, make sure the transmission is in neutral and the ignition switch in the "ACC" ("Options") (when the engine is not running) or in position ?�ON?� (?�On.") (When the engine is running). When towing, the driver must be in the vehicle to control it.

ATTENTION
If towing all four wheels touch the ground, the tow rope should be fastened only to the front of the car. Making sure that the transmission is in the neutral position. Tow the car is recommended no more than 25 km and not exceed the speed of 50 km / h. Make sure that the ignition switch is in the "ACC" and the steering is unlocked. The driver must be in the towed vehicle to be able to control the steering wheel and brakes.
