Description, replacement and adjustment of the throttle cable drive mode kick-Down (TV-cable)

Description

The throttle plate from the transmission is controlled by the cam on the throttle lever, which, in turn, is governed by a cable. Cable TV is attached to the executive lever attached to the axis of the lever throttle. Lock button on the tip is designed to adjust the cable. Proper regulation of TV-cable enables you to synchronize the throttle lever to the transmission axis of the valve with a lever on the throttle body, so that the throttle lever on the transmission never ahead of the throttle lever on the body and not behind him.

Replacement

Components TV-cable assemblies used in the transmissions AW-4 (only models in 1993 ed.)

ORDER EXECUTION

  1. Remove the air cleaner (Chapter Power supply systems and exhaust).
  2. Disconnect the cable from the draft throttle on the throttle body.
Components of the throttle cable assembly used to 42RE transmissions (models 1994 and 1995, GG ed.).

To disconnect the TV-cable to pull the throttle on transmissions 42RN and 46RN move forward this tip (cable upside down, so the groove is visible on its wall, usually facing throttle body, a groove is entanglement with the pin on the lever on the throttle).

  1. Squeeze the mounting lugs cable and remove the cable from the bracket on the engine.
  2. Poddomkratte car and set it to backup.

AW-4 (only models in 1993 ed.)

ORDER EXECUTION

  1. Remove pan transmission (Chapter Settings and maintenance).
  2. Disconnect the cable from the throttle cam.
  1. Unplug the TV-cable from the throttle cam (only AW-4 models in 1993 ed.).
  1. Give the cable bracket bolt and remove the bracket with the rope from the crankcase.
  1. Give the cable bracket bolt and remove the bracket with the rope from the crankcase (only AW-4na models 1993 ed.).
  1. Remove and discard the gasket rope.
  2. Lubricate the new seal and install it on cable.
  3. Type cable into the crankcase transmission.
  4. Connect the cable to the throttle cams.
  5. Install the cable bracket to the crankcase and firmly tighten the mounting bolt.
  6. Replace the transmission oil pan (Chapter Settings and maintenance).

42RE and 42RN/46RN (models 1994 and 1995, GG ed.)

ORDER EXECUTION

  1. Remove the wire from the pin on the lever on the throttle to the transmission.
  1. Unplug the TV-cable from the throttle lever on the transmission (shown transmission 46RN; to 42RE transmissions and 42RN picture is similar).
  1. Disconnect the cable from the bracket on the transmission.
  1. Release the TV-cable from the bracket on the transmission (shown transmission 46RN; to 42RE transmissions and 42RN picture is similar).
  1. Install new cable into the bracket.
  2. Fasten the cable to the pins on the lever on the throttle.

All models

ORDER EXECUTION

  1. Remove the jacks and lower the car to the ground.
  2. Attach a bracket on the engine and the thrust of a new throttle cable (Chapter Power supply systems and exhaust).
  3. Replace the air cleaner (Chapter Power supply systems and exhaust).
  4. Fill transmission fluid desired variety (head tuning and maintenance).
  5. Make the adjustment of the cable.

Adjustment

AW-4 (only models in 1993 ed.)

ORDER EXECUTION

  1. Slide the transmission into position "P" and make sure that the ignition key is turned to OFF. Squeeze the release button of the cable.
  1. Squeeze the release button cable, then vtolknite sheath cable inside its case until it stops (only AW-4).
  1. Turn the throttle lever on the throttle body, fully opening the damper, allow the ratchet in the correct position when you turn the adjuster lever, then release the throttle lever (AW-4).

42RE (models 1994 and 1995, GG ed.)

ORDER EXECUTION

  1. Remove the air cleaner (Chapter Power supply systems and exhaust).
  2. Make sure the lever on the throttle body is in the pure no-load (damper closed), and that the throttle lever on the transmission is also in the idle position (move forward until it stops).
  3. Unhook the cable from the mounting studs on the lever on the throttle body (see illustration, "Components of the throttle cable assembly ..." and "To disconnect the TV-cable ...").
  4. Check the tip of the cable on the mounting pins lever throttle body:
    • The tip of the cable and mounting stud should be aligned (centered in relation to each other) within 1.0 mm in both directions.
    • If there is a breach of such an alignment, it is necessary to make adjustment of the cable.
  5. Connect the cable to the tip of hairpin.
  6. With the help of an assistant will appreciate the consistency of the lever to the flap transmission and throttle body.
    • If both levers move simultaneously, going from idle position to the half-open flaps, adjustment is not disturbed.
    • If the lever transmission throttle lever is ahead or behind, the cable must be adjusted.
    • If the throttle lever case back to a closed valve lever faster transmission, you must also adjust the cable.
  7. Disconnect the cable from the tip of the mounting pins throttle lever on the throttle body (see illustration, "Components of the throttle cable assembly ..." and "To disconnect the TV-cable ...").
  8. Poddomkratte car and set it to backup.
  9. Make sure that the throttle lever on the transmission is in the fully closed damper. Then make sure that the flap lever on the throttle body is in the pure no-load (fully closed valve).
  10. Squeeze the release button and release the rope. To release the cable from the adjusting knob is enough to drown the button on the 1,8 mm.

Details TV-install the cable on the lever on the throttle body (42RE and 42RN/46RN models 1994 ed.).

Details TV-install the cable on the lever on the throttle body (42RE and 46RN models 1995 ed.).

  1. Ottsentruyte tip cable to the mounting pins in the range of 1.0 mm and release the release button (see illustration above).
  2. Check the control cable. Make a synchronous transmission valve actuation levers and throttle body (see Section 1.6).
