Description, replacement and adjustment of the throttle cable mode kickdown (TV-cable)

Description

The throttle valve is controlled by means of a cam knob to the throttle lever, which in turn is controlled cable. Cable TV is attached to the operating lever, fixed to the axis of the throttle lever. Lock button on the handpiece is designed to adjust the cable. Correct adjustment of TV-cable provides synchronization of the throttle lever to the transmission lever axis of the throttle valve on the housing, so that the throttle lever to the transmission lever is never ahead on the throttle and not behind it.

Replacement

Components TV-cable assembly used in the transmissions AW-4 (models 1993 issue.)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the air cleaner (Head of the Power supply system and exhaust).
  2. Disconnect the cable from the traction throttle on the throttle.
Assemble the throttle cable used on transmissions 42RE (models 1994 and 1995 vol.).

To disconnect the cable from the TV-pull throttle and powertrain 42RN 46RN slide forward this tip (the cable is reversed, so it is visible on the wall of the groove, usually rotated to the throttle body, the groove includes engagement with the pin on the throttle lever).

  1. Squeeze the lock tabs and remove the cable from the cable bracket on the engine.
  2. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.

AW-4 (models 1993 issue.)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the transmission oil pan (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
  2. Disconnect the cable from the throttle cam.
  1. Disconnect the cable from the TV-cam throttle (only 4 models AW-1993 vol.).
  1. Give bolts cable bracket and remove the bracket with the cable from the transaxle.
  1. Give bolts cable bracket and remove the bracket with a cable housing (only AW-4on models 1993 MY.).
  1. Remove and discard the cable seals.
  2. Lubricate the new seal and place it on the cable.
  3. Enter the cable into the transmission housing.
  4. Connect the cable to the throttle cam.
  5. Install the cable bracket on the housing and tighten the fixing bolt.
  6. Replace the transmission oil pan (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).

42RE and 42RN / 46RN (models 1994 and 1995 issue.)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the cable from the studs on the throttle lever on the transmission.
  1. Disconnect the TV-cable from the throttle lever on the transmission (shown 46RN mission; transmissions 42RE 42RN and the picture is similar).
  1. Disconnect the cable from the bracket on the transmission.
  1. Release TV-cable from bracket on transmission (shown 46RN mission; transmissions 42RE 42RN and the picture is similar).
  1. Install a new cable in the bracket.
  2. Secure the cable on the stud on the lever throttle.

All models

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the jacks and lower the car to the ground.
  2. Fix the bracket on the motor and traction throttle new rope (head power supply system and exhaust).
  3. Replace the air cleaner (Head of the Power supply system and exhaust).
  4. Fill the transmission fluid required grade (Head of Adjustment and routine maintenance).
  5. Make the adjustment of a cable.

Adjustment

AW-4 (models 1993 issue.)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Put the transmission in position "P" and make sure the ignition key is turned to OFF. Depress the button to release the cable.
  1. Depress the button to release the rope, and then push the cover of a cable into the case until it stops (AW-4 only).
  1. Turn the throttle lever on the throttle fully open valve, let the ratchet into the correct position by turning the adjusting lever, then release the throttle lever (AW-4).

42RE (models 1994 and 1995 issue.)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the air cleaner (Head of the Power supply system and exhaust).
  2. Make sure that the lever on the throttle is in the net idling (flap closed) and that the throttle lever on the transmission and is in the idle position (moved forward until it stops).
  3. Detach the cable from the mounting studs on the lever on the throttle (see. Illustration "Assemble the throttle cable ..." and "To remove the TV-cable ...").
  4. Check the correct position of the tip of a cable to the mounting stud lever throttle body:
    • The tip of a cable and mounting stud must be aligned (centered in relation to each other) within 1.0 mm in both directions.
    • If there is a breach of such alignment, it is necessary to make adjustment of the cable.
  5. Connect the cable to the tip of the pin.
  6. With the help of an assistant account consistency movements throttle lever on the transmission and throttle body.
    • If both levers move synchronously, passing from the idle position to the half-open shutter adjustment is not broken.
    • If the lever transmission ahead of the throttle lever and behind him, the cable must be adjusted.
    • If the throttle lever returns to the closed position of the lever transmission will also need to adjust the cable.
  7. Disconnect the cable end on the mounting studs throttle lever on the throttle (see. Illustration "Assemble the throttle cable ..." and "To remove the TV-cable ...").
  8. Poddomkratte car and establish it on props.
  9. Make sure that the throttle lever on the transmission is in the fully closed position. Then make sure that the throttle lever on the throttle is in the idle net (fully closed position).
  10. Press the release button to release the rope. To release the cable from the adjustment of the head is enough to drown the button to 1.8 mm.

Details of installation of TV-cable on the lever on the throttle (42RE and 42RN / 46RN models 1994 vol.).

Details of installation of TV-cable on the lever on the throttle (42RE and 46RN models 1995 vol.).

  1. Align the tip of a cable relative to the mounting studs in the range of 1.0 mm and release the lock button (see. Illustration above).
  2. Check the cable adjustment. Make synchronicity trigger shutter transmission lever and throttle body (see. P.
