Position sensor

Operability test

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that the starter works only when the key is in the ignition switch is turned to the start position by moving the shift lever to the range of "P" or "N".
2. Check the switch reversing light when turning the key in the ignition switch in the ON position.
3. malfunction Check encoder.

Check conduction circuit

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect from the position sensor.
2. Check for continuity between the contacts of the sensor at different positions of the selector lever.

A warning

The conductivity of the position sensor varies with temperature because of the presence therein of lubricant. Especially check circuits conductivity at low temperatures, since the viscosity of lubricant at low temperatures is increased.

3. If the position does not satisfy the specification, replace it.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Move the gear shift lever in the range of "N".
2. Remove the bolts position sensor.
3. Align the mating marks on the sensor position.
4. Tighten the screws.

The inhaling moment: 19,6-29,4 N ??? m

5. Recheck the position sensor circuit conductivity.
6. A negative result, replace the encoder.
