Thermostat



Removal steps thermostat

1 - a bolt, 19-25 N ??? m;
2 - the upper radiator hose;
3 - a cover of the thermostat;
4 - a lining;
5 - Thermostat

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Drain the coolant into a suitable container.
3. Remove the cover from the thermostat upper radiator hose.
4. Remove the cover bolts of the thermostat.
5. Remove the thermostat cover and thermostat.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Visually check the condition of the thermostat.
2. Suspend the thermostat on a string in a transparent container with water.
3. Insert the thermometer into the water, heat the container with water and watch the thermostat valve. Determine the temperature of the start of opening and fully open the valve of the thermostat.

The onset temperature of the thermostat valve opening: 86,5-89,5 ?� C.
Valve opening temperature of the thermostat 100 ?� C.
Thermostat valve stroke: 8.0 mm

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Set the thermostat into the cylinder head so that the bleed screw located on top.
2. Establish a new lining of the thermostat. When installing the gasket, make sure that the label on the strip is the part of the cylinder head.
3. Set the thermostat casing and fix a bolt and nut.
4. Fill in the required amount of cooling required coolant.
5. Connect the cable to the negative terminal of the battery.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks from the cooling system.
