Coolant temperature



Withdrawal


A warning

The coolant temperature sensor is located next to the thermostat.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unplug the connector from the coolant temperature sensor.
2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Measure the sensor resistance at different temperatures.
The sensor resistance at 20 ?� C - 2,45 ?� 0,24 kW.
The sensor resistance at 80 ?� C - 0,322 ?� 0,032 ohms.
2. If the sensor resistance differs from demanded values, replace it.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Install the coolant temperature sensor with a new seal.

Torque: 25-29N ??? m

2. Connect the sensor connector.
3. Start up the engine and check for leaks from the cooling system.
