Throttle Position Sensor

Check resistance

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unplug the connector from the throttle position sensor.
2. Connect the ohmmeter between terminals 2 and 3 of the connector.
3. Verify that the resistance of the sensor increases in proportion to the angle of the throttle.

Resistance: 2 ? 0,4 kW at closed throttle

4. If the sensor resistance differs from demanded values, replace it.
5. Connect the sensor connector.

Check voltage

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check that the throttle is fully closed.
2. Turn on the ignition.
3. Connect a voltmeter to terminals 3 (wire BLU / ORG) and 1 (wire BLK / GRN) connector throttle position sensor.
4. Check that the throttle is fully closed.
5. Fully open the throttle and check the voltage on pin 3 of the connector.
Pressure at completely closed throttle: 0,4-0,6V
The voltage at full throttle: 4,1-4,3V
6. Otherwise, replace the throttle position sensor.

A warning

The throttle position sensor is not adjustable and is not replaced, because it is an integral part of the throttle assembly.
