Lower arm front suspension



Lower arm front suspension

1 - a nut of fastening of an earring of the stabilizer;
2 - hinge pin;
3 - mounting bolts;
4 - clamping bolt pin of the spherical hinge;
5 - lock nut;
6 - washers;
7 - rear hub;

8 - a nut;
9 - bolts;
10 - the ball joint of the lower arm;
11 - a protective cover of the spherical hinge to (replace);
12 - Front hub;
13 - the lower arm front suspension


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the front of the car and fix on supports.
2. Remove the wheel.
3. Remove the nut earrings of the stabilizer to the bottom lever front suspension.
4. Remove the hinge pin.
5. Remove the nut and remove the bolt pin of the spherical hinge to a rotary fist.
6. Remove the three mounting bolts.
7. Remove the retaining nut and remove the washer and the rear portion of the sleeve of the lower arm front suspension.
8. Remove the two nuts and remove the bolts securing the ball joint to the lower arm front suspension.
9. Attach the ball joint in a vise.
10. Gradually, being careful chisel and moving around the joint, bring down a protective cover.

A warning

Do not damage the surface of the joint, in contact with the protective cover.


11. Remove the front sleeve of the lower arm front suspension.
12. Remove the lower control arm front suspension.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Apply a small amount of grease inside the protective cover of the ball joint.
2. The press and the mandrel install a protective cover on the ball joint.
3. Install the ball joint in the front suspension lower arm and fix its two bolts and nuts.

Torque: 93-117 N ??? m
4. Install the rear hub to the lower arm front suspension with two washers and tighten the lock nut.

Torque: 93-117 N ??? m
5. Tighten three mounting bolts.

Torque: 93-117 N ??? m
6. Establish a pin of the spherical hinge in a rotary fist and fix a bolt and nut.

Torque: 43-54 N ??? m
7. Install the front sleeve on the lower arm front suspension and tighten the pivot bolt.

Torque: 93-117 N ??? m
8. Screw the nut earrings of the stabilizer to the bottom lever front suspension.

Tightening torque: 43 - 61 N ??? m

A warning

Tighten bolts and nuts of the lower arm front suspension torque before lowering the car (no load).

Tighten bolts and nuts of the front and rear bushings lower arm front suspension after car installation on wheels (under load).


Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Secure special tool OK130 322 020 on the trunnion ball joint of the lower arm front suspension and measure the torque which must be applied for the rotation of the hinge.

The timing of rotation of the hinge: 2,0-3,4 N ??? m
