Repair strut front suspension

Elements strut front suspension

1 - lock nut rod;
2 - spring washer;
3 - steel plate;
4 - the top support of a rack;
5 - the bearing pillar;
6 - the upper spring seat;
7 - the top lining of a spring;

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the front spring and shock absorber.
2. Remove the four mounting bolts.
3. Secure the top support of a rack in a vice.
A warning Close sponges of a vice plates from a soft material.
	4. Loosen the lock nut for two or three turns.
A warning Do not remove the nuts completely.
5. Special adaptation OK2A1 341 001 compress a spring strut front suspension.
6. Remove the lock nut and remove the washer.
	7. Mark the position of the upper support strut front suspension, and then remove it. Remove the upper spring seat, the top lining of a spring, a coil spring, a protective cover, blank, bottom lining of a spring and the lower spring seat.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Check the following items strut front suspension and, if necessary, replace them:
a. Grasp the shock-absorber rod a few times and push and pull it out of the shock absorber;
b. check that the rod moves smoothly, without jamming and the force applied to the stem does not change with each turn;
c. make sure that when the rod no extraneous noise.

Assembly

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Secure the shock absorber in a vise.
A warning Close sponges of a vice plates from a soft material.
2. Special adaptation OK2A1 341 001 compress a spring strut front suspension.
3. Install the coil spring, setting the lower end of the spring into the recess.
	4. Set the buffer.
5. Apply a special lubricant for rubber on the palm and the upper spring seat.
6. Set the upper gasket and spring seat.
7. Install the top support of a rack to its original position.
8. Install the washer and lock nut and stem, a little, tighten it.
	9. Remove special adaptation OK2A1 341 001 to compress the spring.
A warning Check that the coil spring is correctly placed in the top and bottom slots.
10. Close the jaws of a vice plates from a soft material and secure the top support of a rack in a vice.
	11. Tighten the lock nut shaft torque. Torque: 55-68 N ??? m
