Replacing the timing belt



You will need: a flat-blade screwdriver, socket wrench "10" keys "10", "14", "21" pliers.
1. Disconnect a wire from the plug ?�-?� the storage battery.
2. Remove the decorative motor cover (see. "Removing and installing decorative casing of the engine").
3. Establish the piston of 1st cylinder TDC compression stroke (see. "Installation of the piston of the first cylinder to TDC of the compression stroke").

4. Remove the two upper bolts cover the timing belt, remove the bracket decorative casing, remove the screw dipstick bracket and remove the bracket.

NOTE
Right upper mounting bolt of the timing belt cover mounted terminals for the "masses" of the engine.

5. Remove the two bottom bolts of the top cover of the timing belt, and remove the cover.

NOTE
To replace the timing belt, remove the belt drive of the generator and the power steering pump (see. "Replacing the alternator drive belt and a water pump", "Replacing the drive belt power steering pump and air conditioning compressor").

6. Secure the water pump pulley from turning, remove the three bolts of its fastening ...
7. ... and remove the pulley.

8. Remove the bolt cover middle timing belt ...
9. ... and remove the cover.

10. Fixing the crankshaft from turning, remove the pulley bolt drive additional units ...
11. ... and remove the pulley.

12. Remove the three screws on the bottom cover belt timing ...
13. ... and remove the cover.

14. Remove the spring tension roller.
15. Loosen the screws on the tension wheel ...

16. Take ... video ...
17. ... and remove the timing belt.
18. Install the timing belt and all previously removed parts in reverse order of removal.
19. When installing ensure the tension of the leading branches of the belt. After installation, adjust the belt tension (see. "Adjusting the tension of the timing belt").
