Pressure regulator

The left pressure regulator
Fig. 10.22. The left pressure regulator: 1 - the brake pipe; 2 - a bolt; 3 - pressure regulator

The pressure regulator located on the bulkhead (Figure 10.22). To accurately test it requires special equipment for testing, but the occurrence of a fault can be judged by the premature locking brakes of the rear wheels during braking with a heavy load or if the rear brakes do not work.
To remove the first pressure regulator, clean it out, then turn away from it all handsets. Use the cloth to collect the brake fluid, and take precautions to prevent brake fluid on the paintwork of the vehicle.
Remove the bolt of the pressure regulator to the partition and remove it.
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Upon completion of all operations to remove air from a hydraulic drive of brake system.
