Coolant temperature

Location coolant temperature sensor (model with 6-cylinder engine)

The coolant temperature sensor is a thermistor, i.e. its resistance decreases with increasing temperature sensor.

Check that the sensor resistance at room temperature is about 2200-2700 ohms. Heat the sensor to a temperature of 80 ? C and check that the resistance is reduced to 290-350 ohms. Replace the sensor if it is faulty.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
