Throttle Position Sensor

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Throttle position sensor (arrow) is located on the valve body. Disconnect the connector to connect the sensor and check that when the ignition voltage between REF (+) and GND (-) was approximately 5.0 volts.
2. Check the sensor signal voltage between terminals SIG (+) and GND (-). When the throttle is fully closed, the voltage should be 0.5-1.0 volts. At full throttle the voltage should rise to 3.5-5.0 volts.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Remove the sensor mounting screws (arrows) and turn the sensor so that when fully closed throttle signal voltage of the sensor is 0.5-1.0 volts.

Replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. On models 1993 of release with a four-cylinder engine sensor can not be replaced.
2. On all other models, disconnect the connector connecting the sensor, unscrew the screws and remove the gauge.
3. Installation is spent upside-down removals.
