EGR
EGR reduces the content of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas, directing part of the exhaust gas through the EGR valve into the intake manifold. EGR system consists of a recirculation valve and valve position sensor. Check PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. To check the sensor EGR valve, disconnect the connector connecting the valve (arrow) and check the resistance between terminals 1 and 3, 3 and 5, 4 and 2, 4 and 6 on the valve. It should be approximately 22 ohms. If not, replace the valve. | | 2. Warm up the engine to normal operating temperature. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the valve and connect the vacuum pump. When you create a vacuum engine performance should deteriorate or he may even die. If not, replace the valve. | 3. Check that the solenoid valve to change the direction of air flow when voltage is applied. |

Recirculation Valve Replacement PERFORMANCE ORDER | | 1. Disconnect the connection of the valve. Remove the tube recycling, turn off fixing bolts (are specified by arrows) and remove the valve. | 2. Installation is spent upside-down removals. Use a new gasket. |
