Cylinder head




A warning

The engine must be completely cool.


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Drain the fuel system pressure.
2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
3. Drain the coolant from the engine and radiator.
4. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter.
5. Remove the air intake pipe.
6. Remove the spark plug.
7. Remove the intake manifold.
8. Remove the exhaust manifold.
9. Remove the cylinder head cover.
10. Remove the timing belt cover and the belt.
11. Remove the pump drive belts hydrostrengthening steering system and generator.
12. Remove an arm of the generator.
13. Remove the crankshaft sensor and the distributor of ignition or ignition coil.
14. Remove the bolts securing the pump system hydrostrengthening steering pump and place to one side, without disconnecting from it hoses.
15. Disconnect hoses, remove the four screws and remove the coolant bypass tube. Disconnect all hoses and wires that prevent the removal of the cylinder head.
16. Remove the camshafts and tappets.
17. Using the reverse sequence tightening, loosen several approaches (1/4 turn) the cylinder head bolts.
18. Remove the cylinder head.
19. Carefully clean the inner surface of the head (see. Subsection 3.2.10).

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clean joined surfaces of a head and cylinder block.
2. Inspect the surface of the head and the block on presence of deep scratches and other damage. If the surface is damaged is not strong, it can be treated with fine sandpaper.
3. With a tap of suitable size and clean the compressed air cylinder head bolt holes.
4. Install a new head gasket top mark to the top and the crown.
5. Insert the new head bolts and tighten them in several steps in the sequence.
6. Install the remaining parts, pour the oil and coolant.
7. Start the engine and check for leaks.
