Cylinder Head Cover



Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
2. Disconnect the hose valve for crankcase ventilation and air hoses from the head cover.
3. Mark the spark plug wires and disconnect them from the candles.
4. Disconnect the hose valve for crankcase ventilation (A) and vent hoses from the head cover and unscrew bolts of the bracket (B) hoses hydrostrengthening steering.
5. In models 1996 and later model years, disconnect the crankshaft sensor.
6. Remove the cylinder head cover bolts in sequence of return specified sequence tightening.
7. Disconnect all hoses and wires that prevent the removal of the cover and remove the cover.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Carefully clean joined surfaces of the cylinder head and the head cover.
2. Apply sealant to one side of the cover gasket and install the gasket on the cover.
3. Apply sealant to the indicated surface of the cylinder head.
4. Replace the cover and insert the bolts.
5. Tighten the bolts in the sequence shown.
6. Install the remaining details, get the engine and check the cap for leaks.
