Rear springs




A warning

Depending on the vehicle equipment used different springs with the corresponding rubber feet. To indicate the last coil springs caused a color bar and knocked part number. If you change the use of the spring with the same designation.


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Place the vehicle back on the stand.
2. If present, remove the casing of the lower arm.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation, check the rubber feet on the porosity and damage, replace if necessary. Clean the contact surface on the suspension arms.
2. Put the adaptation for compression and slowly squeeze the spring.
3. By right rotation put rubber mount. To facilitate the installation of the support can be lubricated with liquid soap or glycerine.
4. Place the spring so that the end of the lower coil was sitting in the recess of the lever.
5. Place the control arm bolt and screw the new self-locking nut (72b) with the washer, do not tighten it.
6. Place a garage jack under the suspension arm, lift the lever to become a semi-axis approximately horizontal. Do not forget the wooden spacer between the lever and jack.

A warning

When lifting, take care not to raise the vehicle with stands.


7. In this position, tighten the nut to a torque spring 70 Nm
8. Release the spring, paying attention to the correctness of its landing in the arm and on the body.
9. Remove the tool and jack.
10. Put in place a wire brake pad wear indicator.
11. If there is, put a casing of the lever.
12. Check the car on the front axle.
13. Install the correct position lamps.
