Semiaxes

A warning

To tighten the axle nut is required with an adjustable wrench until at least 220 Nm torque.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Unscrew the nut on the half-line by a twelve point socket wrench SW 30.

A warning

At the same time, in order to avoid an accident, the car should stand on wheels, the transfer must be enabled, and the parking brake is applied.

2. Mark a paint position of wheels in relation to the hub. Due to this, after removal can be returned to the place of a balanced tire. Release the wheel bolts when the vehicle is on the ground, and then put it back on the stand and remove the rear wheels.
3. Remove the axle shaft (37) from the coupling flange (33). To do this, unscrew the bolts from the inner polyhedron (35) (with SW 10, for example, HAZET 2751 or 990 SLg 10) and remove them together with lock washers (34).

A warning

Watch out for the correct key to fit the bolt head. It is desirable to pre-clean the interior of the polyhedron in the bolt head.

4. Place a garage jack under the suspension arm, lift the lever to become a semi-axis approximately horizontal. Do not forget the wooden spacer between the lever and jack.

A warning

When lifting, take care not to raise the vehicle with stands.

5. Pull the floor, then tilt obliquely downward.

A warning

Take care when removing the half-line is not unscrewed the top of the shaft.

6. Remove the axle from the hub. If it sits firmly, use a suitable conventional device for its extrusion from the flange.
7. Remove the half-line, check the rubber cuff and a cover for leaks and damage, and repair if necessary.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Clean the surface between the flange and the cap axis.
2. Insert the shaft into the hub.
3. Attach the shaft to the flange.
4. Put a new washer and new bolts with an internal polyhedron.
A warning

Pre lightly grease the threads and contact surfaces of the bolts. Measure the diameter of the thread, as it affects the tightening torque.

5. Tighten the bolts with a diameter of 10 mm with a torque of 70 Nm crosswise and bolts of 12 mm diameter with a torque of 100 Nm
6. Pull and remove the garage jack.
7. Place the rear wheels so that coincided paint mark on the wheel and hub. Screw the wheel. Lower the car and tighten the wheel bolts to a torque of 110 Nm
8. Screw the new twelve-nut semi-axis in the hub and tighten with a torque of 220 Nm
A warning

Pre lightly grease the threads and contact surface.

In this operation, the car should stand on wheels. Nut essentially replaced. When screwing must be tightened parking brake and gear is engaged.

9. stake the nut axle to the bead (arrow), which hammer in a nut fillet into a slot punch shaft.
