Replacing brake fluid

Only vehicles without slip regulation of the drive wheels relative to a reference surface (ASR).

Required special tool:

- All key to loosen bolts hood;
- Transparent plastic hose.

The necessary wearing parts:

- About 0.5 liters of brake fluid DOT 4 specifications.

Brake fluid through the pores of the brake hose and through the air vent tank absorbs moisture from the air. Because of this operation over time decreases the boiling point of brake fluid. When heavily loaded brakes it can lead to the formation of vapor bubbles in the brake lines, because of which much disturbed the functioning of the braking system.

Regardless of the path of the brake fluid, replace, if possible, in the spring, every two years. During numerous trips to the mountain areas, replace the brake fluid through a brief period of time.

When handling brake fluid, observe safety precautions.

Note the band felt the level of brake fluid in the reservoir. After replacing the brake fluid again restore its original level. This prevents overflow reservoir hydraulic brake actuator when replacing the friction brake linings.
PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Use a suction bottle pump out from a tank of the hydraulic brake actuator brake fluid to approximately 10 mm.
A warning

Do not empty the tank completely, so that the air does not hit the brakes.

2. Fill the reservoir with new brake fluid up to the mark "max".
3. Slide the right rear caliper disc brake hose to clean the breather valve, substitute a suitable vessel.
4. Have the assistant to squeeze out a few times a brake pedal for as long as the counter is created. Have the brake pedal is depressed at the same time open the valve breather and let the flow of fluid through the transparent hose. Close the valve breather, if the pedal is adjacent to the base body of the carrier, take your foot off the pedal. This operation is repeated (about 10 times) on each valve breather until until it starts to appear already a new brake fluid. New brake fluid can be identified by a lighter color.
5. Close the valve breather, fill the reservoir with new brake fluid.
6. Just pump out the old brake fluid from other disc brake caliper.
A warning

In any case re-entry brake fluid should be transparent and free from air bubbles.

Old brake fluid hand over as a special waste.
