Gasoline 8-cylinder V-engines E 420, E 430, E 50 AMG and E 55 AMG

The injection system 8-cylinder V-engine of 4.2 liters has been adapted by the control system HFM (Fig. 1.16). Control Functions injection and ignition are now integrated in the engine control unit Motronic 1.0. Model E 430 was replaced by the E 420. The new 4.3-liter refers to a series of engines M 113.
