Air Conditioning

Air conditioning in the car provides a temperature below the ambient air temperature and reduces humidity in the cabin. It operates in Reheat. This means that fresh air is first cooled the air conditioner, and then brought to the desired temperature. Through this combined function misted glass in the car dry quickly.
Automatic temperature adjustment (TAU)
Automatic temperature setting is an advanced system of automatic heating due to additional cooling function. Operating elements and duct system are similar to the basic version. When you press an additional button ?EC? turns off the air conditioning compressor and the red LED lights.

Technical Dictionary
Air Conditioning
Conditioning includes refrigerant compressor, a condenser, a throttle, an evaporator, a drain tank and high pressure pipelines. The refrigerant circulating system which, depending on the temperature and pressure in a liquid or gaseous state.
.
Compressor.
Driven belt drive from the engine and increases the pressure in the circulation system to about 20 bar. As a result, the refrigerant in gaseous form is heated.
Condenser.
Here, the air flow takes up heat refrigerant is cooled, condensed, and liquefies.
Choke.
Next, the refrigerant flows through a throttle which relieves pressure. The refrigerant evaporates and cools again.
Evaporator.
In this device, the refrigerant takes heat from the fresh air and the air is cooled. The evaporator is located in front of the radiator heater body heating system. The cooled air is directed into the interior of the vehicle. Under the action taken in the evaporator heat refrigerant reverts to the gaseous state and at a low pressure is fed back to the compressor. The circle is closed circulation.
In this mode, the system consumes less fuel, automatic adjustment of the fan speed and control valves are stored. The temperature in the cabin can not be below ambient, humidification occurs.

Climate control system (KLA)
The advantage of the climate control in comparison with the air conditioning is the possibility of including an additional mode ?Auto?. Moreover, there is a possibility of separate adjustment for the driver and passenger. When you activate the volume of supplied air and its distribution are regulated automatically. If the mode is not activated, can be adjusted manually or separately, as in the conventional heating and air, or to both sides simultaneously.
The climate control system includes an activated carbon filter to absorb odors. It can be installed in the other trim levels, in addition to the air-purifying filter. Thanks to him, the smells are filtered.
Sensor carbon monoxide (CO) detects a high content of harmful impurities in the ambient air, and the system is switched to recirculation. The display shows ?Smog?.
The system also takes into account sensor data from sunlight, which is located in the center of the lower edge of the windscreen. For example, in strong sunlight and outdoor air temperature above +19 ? C the value of the preset temperature in the cabin decreases.
