Removing the center console

SEQUENCE OF WORK

1. Remove the trim around the shift lever.

2. Remove the ashtray.

3. Open the drawer under the armrest and loosen the mounting screws in its bottom (Fig. 10.34). If necessary, remove the pre-attached to the crate pad (for example, you can raise with a vacuum cleaner) to access the screws.

4. Remove the two screws behind the gear lever.

5. Lift the front of the center console so that it is disengaged from the front panel.

6. On the subsequent assembly before fastening set the console so that it is possible tight to the joining surface.
