Check the rear window defogger
Rear window defogger circuit protected by a fuse in the assembly block ?19 next to the battery and get voltage when the contact of the corresponding relay in the combi-switch. This occurs when you press the switch located on the instrument panel (warning lamp), and only if the system voltage exceeds 11 V. The control electronics provides the combi-switch. If when the rear window heater is switched off the ignition, the heater should be switched on again. If the heater is not working window, proceed as follows.
1. Check the fuse ?19. 2. Remove the trim clips the right and left rear pillars. Approximately 20 cm from the lower-angles are on either side are the connectors for connection. 3. Check the reliability of these connectors. If the black wire has power, but the glass is heated, there is no connection with "weight". Check the connector and the wiring. 4. Remove heater switch-off of the instrument panel and check that the probe voltage when the ignition is in the black-and-yellow-green wire. Served Does the voltage at the black wire when the switch? 5. Check whether the voltage is applied to the relay contacts with "30" on contact "87". To do this, remove the switch and jumper. If the heater started working, defective combi-switch. Replace the combi-switch in the circuit or install an additional heater separate relay. 6. If the yarn heater damaged by sharp objects on the rear shelf (eg, if working only part of them) can be used to repair conductive silver lacquer, for example brand Doduco (there are at retail).
