Checking the wear of the clutch
Since the clutch wear has no effect on the amount of pedal free travel, it should be tested in the workshop during maintenance work using a special calibration tool.

The push rod of the working cylinder has a different diameter between the piston and lever clutch. Depending on the output shaft of the flange of the working cylinder rod diameter is changed, and the penetration of fire for a particular length is determined by the degree of wear on the clutch disc. Caliber can be made independently of the steel plate 0.6-0.8 mm thick and 15 mm wide (Fig. 10.2). If the labels are not visible to the caliber of the flange of the working cylinder, the wear on the clutch disc is negligible.
1. Place the vehicle on the stand and remove the bottom protection of the engine.

2. Insert the test gauge 4 (Fig. 6.2) into the slot in front of the flange of the cylinder until it stops working. 3. If the mark is visible (arrows) on the edges of the caliber of F, wear pads close to the limit, that is, from the original 3.8 mm left about 2 mm and subsequently the clutch starts to slip. If the labels are not visible to the caliber of the flange of the working cylinder - the clutch disc is not defective.
