Coolant

The coolant consists of a mixture of anti-freeze additives for corrosion protection and water. The factory applies concentrate chemical composition of which is specifically designed for engines Mercedes. The mixture of water and antifreeze depends on the total amount of the coolant, which is slightly different for some types of motors depending on the equipment. The proportion of anti-freeze should be 50% - it protects the fluid from freezing at -37 ? C. When the content of more than 50% antifreeze deteriorates the heat transfer of the coolant. The content of antifreeze should not be below 40%, otherwise the effect will worsen antifreeze agents and corrosion protection at temperatures below freezing cooling liquid begins to thicken.
