Monitoring the level and topping up the coolant
"Daily maintenance" 1. Check the coolant level in the engine is cold - the cooling system is not under pressure.

2. When the engine is cold the level should reach the separating seam between the top and bottom of the tank (Fig. 4.43). This float sensor takes up position. On the hot engine liquid level rises above.

3. For topping up, open the filler neck (Fig. 4.44). When the engine is hot, take cover thick cloth and open slowly to equalize the pressure of the hot liquid to the outside. If you open the lid too fast, pressurized fluid ejection from the cap. 4. Do not top up the fluid above the separating seam expansion tank, coolant expands when heated and an excess of it will throw out.
