Removal and installation of dampers drive chain

b. Other parts of the camshaft drive mechanism
Fig. 95 b. Other parts of the camshaft drive mechanism: 1 - two-row drive chain; 2 - planting pin; 3 - thrust washer camshaft; 4 - camshaft; 5 - strap-dampers chain; 6 - bearing pin pacifier chain on the cylinder block; 7 - the bearing pin pacifier chain; 8 - pin boarding; 9 - the chain guide groove

The mechanism of the camshaft drive assembly
Fig. 96. The mechanism of the camshaft drive assembly: 1 - the crankshaft sprocket; 2 - tensioning shoe chain; 3 - chain tensioner; 4 - star camshaft drive; 5 - pacifier chain; 6 - sprocket drive of the fuel pump; 7 - pacifier chain; 8 - the lever of the chain tensioning drive of the oil pump; 9 - the oil pump drive sprocket

Details pacifier camshaft drive chain
Fig. 101. Details pacifier chain camshaft drive: 1 - puller; 2 - threaded a finger to dismantle; 3 - upper bearing pin; 4 - the lever of the tension spring; 5 - chain tensioner; 6 - malleable bolt, 25 Nm + 90 ?; 7 - washer camshaft drive sprocket; 8 - the camshaft sprocket drive; 9 - damper drive chain; 10 - camshaft; 11 - tension spring; 12 - the lower bearing pin; 13 - the guide pulley

Location dampers drive circuit shown in Fig. 95 b and 96. When removed, they usually need a hammer to remove the bearing pin. On the inner side of the bearing pin is threaded M6. With long M6 bolts, bushings and washers can be quite easy to dismantle the finger. In Fig. 101 shows the front part of the engine in some detail assembly and disassembly. When removing the top pacifier drive chain (in the cylinder head), proceed as follows (assuming that all the parts that prevent access to the dismantled parts are already removed from the vehicle):

Location tags in finding the first cylinder at TDC
Fig. 102. Location tags in finding the first cylinder piston at TDC

- Remove the cylinder head cover. Before the subsequent installation of the cylinder head cover is necessary to verify that the TDC marks on the flange 1 (Fig. 102) and on the cover 2 of the first camshaft bearing;
- Remove the viscous coupling;
- Completely dismantle the drive belt tensioner. Bearing pin tensioning lever 4 (see. Fig. 101) of the belt pretensioner is also a pillar of the drive chain pacifier;
- Remove the camshaft drive sprocket in accordance with regulations contained in the relevant chapter;
- Remove the chain tensioner (Sect. 2.12.1);

Removal of the bearing pin (shown by arrows)
Fig. 103. Removal of the bearing pin (shown by arrows)

- Remove the two reference pin Idler circuit using a hammer knock-out and the threaded insert (Fig. 103) and the stay damper from the top of the chain. In the absence of a hammer knock-out, which is quite often the case in the bearing pin is worn big washer, and the top - the plug. Then he takes a long M6 screw with large washer and twisted into the end of the bearing pin (bolt washer should rest on the top edge of the sleeve). In the subsequent tightening of bolts and clamping sleeve bearing pin fed from a landing slot;
- Before installing a new or previously used bearing pin sealant should be applied to the flange;
- Set damper circuit in the correct position and press in bearing pin in their landing slot. To rule while squeezing pacifier chain, it abut the screwdriver to provide back pressure. The guide groove in the support hole pacifier chain should sit on the ledge of the upper bearing pin;
- Further assembly is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
When installing the drive chain on the camshaft sprocket drive pay attention to the labels put paint.

Installation stilling chain guide (1) at two bearing pin (2)
Fig. 104. Installing stilling chain guide (1) at two bearing pin (2)

When replacing the lower chain guide restful, the location of which is shown in Fig. 104, perform the following steps:
- Disassemble the front of the vehicle to provide access to all necessary units and parts of the engine;
- Remove the cover of the drive camshaft (see. Sect. 2.5.1);

Removing the tensioner arm
Fig. 105. Removing the tension lever

- Take the tension lever with spring and the pressure shoe chain so that he could pass by the chain and down to the crankshaft, as shown in Fig. 105;
- Remove the tensioning lever with the bearing pin and carefully apply it toward weakening the spring, and then, unhooking the spring, remove the lever together with it;
- Remove soothing bar circuit with two reference finger;

The correct position of the tensioning lever of the chain oil pump with pressure shoe
Fig. 106. The correct position of the tensioning lever of the chain oil pump with pressure shoe

- To insert a new bearing pin soothing bar chain. Hook the spring on a pad and chain tensioner arm and all together pushed onto the bearing pin, as shown in Fig. 106;
- Replace the cover of the drive camshaft in accordance with regulations contained in Section. 2.5.
