Removal, check and installation of shock absorbers



When measuring the position of the body height and alignment of the rear wheels need to use a special device company ?�Mercedes-Benz?�.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Check the shock absorbers (see. The front suspension).
  2. Prepare the car: Remove the cushion and the rear seatback, lift the back and put it on the supports (stand) is matched by the outer ends of the suspension arms. Wedges on the front wheels.
  3. Remove the cover and unscrew the nut hatch shock absorber to the upper support. Remove the washer and rubber grommet.
  4. Working under the car, loosen the bolts of the lower leg and lower shock absorber under the suspension arm.
  5. Remove the shock absorber mounting components.
  6. Squeeze the shock to domestic or until it stops feeling extra resistance and compare to the size of the figure. If the dimensions are outside the specified range, replace the shock absorber.

Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Check shock absorbers

Type A: a = 0,0-32,0 mm
Type B: a = mm 82,0-105
Type C: a = 137-147 mm
