Substitution of the intermediate support of the drive shaft



PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the driveline.
  2. Put labels of mutual position of the front and rear driveshafts.
  3. Remove front propeller shaft (nut already weakened).
  4. Remove the rubber sleeve with the splines.
  5. Remove the snap ring, then remove the protective cover.
  6. Xpress rubber mount with a bearing fork universal joint. Remove the inner cap.
  7. Supporting rubber mount for the inner hole, press out the bearing mandrel.
  8. Clean the hole of the rubber bearing, set it on a piece of wood, and press-fit into her new bearing mandrel acting only on its outer ring. Are pressed slowly until it stops in the shoulder.
  9. Replace the inner cap.
  10. Clamp in a vice with soft metal jaws of the universal joint and replace it with a rubber bearing support so that the V-shaped edge of the support has been turned towards the hinge. With the mandrel fully press them bearing on the shaft.
  11. Install the cap and fix its lock ring, inner crown that must be addressed to the cap.
  12. Apply a small amount of lubrication slots, attach the front propeller shaft before labeling the relative position.
  13. Install the rubber sleeve on the slots.
  14. Install the driveline in place.
