Installation of the piston of the first cylinder to TDC

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the cylinder head cover, refer to Section Removal and installation of the cylinder head cover.

2. Establish the piston of the first cylinder to TDC. To do this, switch the transmission in neutral and turn a cranked shaft socket wrench for central bolt crankshaft pulley in the direction of rotation of the engine, ie, clockwise. Rotate the crankshaft until the mark "from" on the pulley and the pointer does not match.

Do not rotate the crankshaft in the reverse direction. Do not rotate the crankshaft bolt for the camshaft sprocket.

3. In this position the planer (1) (locking pin) should be introduced through the first camshaft bearing cap in the hole in the sprocket (2) of the inlet camshaft. Otherwise, turn the crankshaft one full turn and reinsert a drift.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the locking pin.
2. Install the cylinder head cover, refer to the appropriate section.
