Removing and installing chain tensioner



In the presence of noise in the circuit, which is the source of the tensioner, the latter must be removed to check. If necessary, replace the tensioner should be included.

Tensioner vv?�rnut the right side in the cylinder head. Through the hole in the cylinder head it is supplied with oil under pressure.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Set the first cylinder to TDC, refer to Section Installation of the piston of the first cylinder to TDC.
2. Remove the top of the ventilation hose.
3. Remove the air intake.
4. Remove the air filter, refer to Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
5. Remove the chain tensioner at hexagon housing from the cylinder head.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

Replace the chain tensioner (1) with a new sealing ring (2) 80-nm force.
