Removing and installing coolant pump



4-cylinder petrol engine

The coolant pump is located at the front of the cylinder and is driven through V-belt transmission.

Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Drain the coolant, refer to the appropriate section.
2. Remove the air filter, refer to Section Removal and installation of the air filter.
3. 111,955 Engine: remove the air filter holder.
4. Loosen the bolt of the coolant pump pulley. At the same time hold the pulley from turning by holding the V-belt.
5. Remove the V-belt, address to Section Removal and installation of the V-belt.
6. Disconnect and remove the pump pulley.
7. Remove the hose from the pump. Previously loosen the clamp and slide back.
8. Remove the pump from the engine block.

Mark the position of bolts having different lengths.

9. Clean the mating surfaces.


Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Replace the pump with a new gasket and secure it with screws.
2. The further installation is carried out in sequence, return to removal. Secure the pulley torque 10Nm.
3. Fill the cooling system with fluid and remove air from the system, refer to the appropriate section.


The petrol engine 112

Remove the belt tensioner with a shock absorber.

Diesel engines

PERFORMANCE ORDER

It describes only differences from the gasoline engine.

1. Press the screwdriver cap screws on the central deflection roller belt. Disconnect the deflection roller.

Bolt coolant pump is located behind the deflection roller.

2. Remove the fuel hose from the valve off, refer also to Section Replacement of the fuel filter.
3. Disconnect the water pump.

The pump is fixed with bolts of varying lengths, so when removing the need to mark the position of the bolt marker.

4. Clean the mating surfaces.
