Removing and installing rear spring



Depending on the vehicle equipment installed rubber feet of different heights. When replacing the need to measure the height of all supports. You only need to install the rubber feet of the same height.


Withdrawal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift and establish on supports a back part of the car.
2. Remove the 2 bolts (1) of the cover of the spring lever (2). Remove the cover and remove it.

3. Move the garage outside the jack under the spring arm and lift it so that the drive shaft of rear wheels stood horizontally. Apply for this wooden lining.

With the rise of the spring arm, make sure that the car does not come down the stilts. If necessary, load the trunk.

4. Spring heavily squeezed. To remove the spring it is necessary to further compress so that offload support cup. To do this, use the special adaptation for compression.

The spring should be removed only when the device is compressed, it reliably!


5. Squeeze the spring device. This tool should cover 3 to 4 turns of the spring. Compress the spring so that the cups have been discharged.

Take care that spring coils were reliably covered by the device and the device could not slip. Spring clamped great effort, so you only need to use a reliable tool. In no case do not compress the spring wire. There is a risk of an accident!

6. Remove the caulking nut (1) securing the spring arm (2) and remove it from the washer. Remove the bolt.

7. Pull the lever down and take out the spring with rubber support.

8. If the spring needs to be replaced, clamp it in a vise. Turn to the left side, remove the rubber mount and slowly unload spring.


Setting

Before installing the rubber mount check for cracks or any damage. If necessary, replace the bearing. Clean the area adjoining the spring on the lever.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Fit and slowly squeeze the spring.
2. Install rubber mount by turning it to the right. For ease of installation support can be lightly grease dishwashing liquid or glycerin.
3. Insert the spring so that the end of the lower coil sat in a recess on the spring arm.
4. Insert the bolt of the spring arm and screw the new caulking nut and washer without tightening the nuts.
5. Move the garage outside the jack under the spring arm and lift it so that the drive shaft of rear wheels stood horizontally. Apply for this wooden lining.

With the rise of the spring arm, make sure that the car does not come down the stilts. If necessary, load the trunk.

6. In this position, tighten the nut spring arm torque 70Nm.
7. Relieve the spring, making sure it is correctly positioned in the upper and lower rubber support spring arm.
8. Remove the tool to compress the spring and a jack.
9. Secure the cover of the spring lever and secure it with two screws.
10. Lower the car on wheels.
11. If you are installing new parts, you need to adjust the headlights (work HUNDRED).
