Description of the procedures for removing and installing control modules injection (ME-SFI / CDI), AT (TCM / ETC), transfer case, braking and ancillary stabilization systems (ABS / BAS / EBV / ESP) is given in the Handbook (see chap. PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove facing of the central section of the instrument panel (see. Removing and installing wall panel sections of the dashboard console).
  4. Remove the mounting bolts (1) and release control module assembly / multifunction display (A40 / 3) of the instrument panel.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors (1, 2, A, B, D, E, F).
  6. Carefully, trying not to pull and wring cable connector disunite D2V fiber-optic bus.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - with the appropriate configuration (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  8. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

The front door

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last.

    7 - Auxiliary battery
    8 - terminal positive wire module
    9 - negative terminal wire module
    W10 - Ground Battery
  1. Remove the interior door trim (see chap. Body).
  2. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the door control module (N69 / 1 or N69 / 2) (see. Section Disconnecting and reconnecting electrical mounting blocks and control modules).
  3. Remove the mounting screws (B) and remove the control module (N69 / 1 or N69 / 2).
  4. Installation is in the reverse order - the wiring modules, following the wires are not crossed, fix new bandages (C).
  5. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery and then disconnect the negative cable last.

    7 - Auxiliary battery

  1. Remove the interior door trim (3) (see chap. Body).
  2. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the door control module (N69 / 3 or N69 / 4) (see. Section Disconnecting and reconnecting electrical mounting blocks and control modules).
  3. Clenching catches (1), remove the control module (N69 / 3 or N69 / 4).
  4. Installation is in the reverse order - the wiring modules, following the wires are not crossed, a new secure strapping (A).
  5. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

Control module activation and the perception of the signal (SAM) / mounting fuse and relay

Front module

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove the main storage compartment (see chap. Body).
  4. Remove the right lower cover of the instrument panel (see chap. Body).
  5. Give fixing nuts (1 and 2) and remove the front module SAM / mounting unit (N10 / 1).
  6. The properly labeled by disconnecting connectors (3 and 4) control module (N10 / 1) (see. Section Disconnecting and reconnecting electrical mounting blocks and control modules).
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness of wiring and locks securely into the connectors (see. Section Disconnecting and reconnecting electrical mounting blocks and control modules).
  8. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  9. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and enter the required basic settings avionics.

The rear module

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove the center console (see chap. Body) and padded underneath the duct.
  4. Remove the screws and remove the module SAM / mounting unit (N10 / 2).
  5. Installation is in the reverse order - track correctness of wiring and locks securely into the connectors (see. Section Disconnecting and reconnecting electrical mounting blocks and control modules).
  6. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  7. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and enter the required basic settings avionics.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  1. Turn on the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last.

  1. Remove the ignition key.
  2. Remove the lower left section of the instrument panel trim (see chap. Body).
  3. Squeeze the clips (1) and remove the module from the EIS (N73) drive cable (2) by pulling it in the direction of the arrow.
  4. Disconnect the connector (3) wiring module EIS (N73).
  5. Installation is in the reverse order - plug-in module EIS must be programmed in accordance with the included instructions.
  6. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

The control unit of telecommunications (codes ET7 / EV7)

1 - The console module
A - Connector fiber optic cable

The connector -
N112 - Control Module

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the center console (see chap. Body).
  2. Disconnect the connector (A) to connect the fiber optic cable to the control module (N112), - immediately close the connectors with protective caps waveguides.
  3. Clutching the locking tabs and gently pulling, disunite a socket (B).
  4. Remove the 2 mounting screws and releasing one nut, remove the bracket (1) control module (N112) from the tunnel transmission line.
  5. Remove the two spaced bottom fixing screws and remove the control module (N112) with the console panel (1).
  6. Installation is in the reverse order.
  7. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

The control unit of the emergency call TELE AID (code ET2)

The models 463.250 / 323/333

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove the center console (see chap. Body).
  4. Remove the AT control module (ECM / ETC) (see chap. Automatic transmission).
  5. Remove the three screws (1) Disconnect the two connectors (2), then disunite connector, shown by the arrow, and remove the control module (A35 / 8).
  6. Replace the battery of autonomous emergency call.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order.
  8. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  9. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and enter the required basic settings avionics.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Lift the right front seat and slide it back until it stops.
  2. Release the two clamps (2) securing the front of the cover (1) control module.
  3. Slide the raised seat all the way forward, release the two rear retainer (arrow) and remove the cover (1).
  4. Give the two nuts (3) securing the rear of the control module (A35 / 8).
  5. Again, pull the raised seat in its rearmost position, give two front nuts (4) and remove the module (A35 / 8).
  1. Turn off the ignition, activate the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last.

    7 - Auxiliary battery

    9 - negative terminal wire module
    W10 - Ground Battery

  1. Remove the control unit (A35 / 8) from the support bracket.
  2. Unlock and disunite a socket (A35 / 8j10).
  3. Disconnect the fiber optic cable CAN bus and immediately stop the two halves of its connector (B) special that prevent light exposure, protective caps.
  4. Disconnect the connector (C) antenna cable.
  5. Remove the control unit of the emergency call TELE AID (A35 / 8).
  6. If necessary, release the front (6) and rear (7) nuts, separate from the console (5) wire (8) Bus CAN, free from penoizolyatsionnogo material (9) and disunite contact sockets - take care of the protection of the fiber optic waveguide caps and remove Console (5) module, threading wiring in through the window.
  7. Installation is in the reverse order.
  8. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and enter the required basic settings avionics.

Control Module protection sensor towing

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Remove the center console (see chap. Body).
  4. Remove the rear module SAM (N10 / 2) - See above..
  5. Disconnect the electrical wiring from the control module (N27) protection sensor towing.
  6. Release the fasteners and remove the module (N27).
  7. Installation is in the reverse order - on the model of the corresponding configuration (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  8. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and enter the required basic settings avionics.

  1. Turn off the ignition, activate the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last.

  1. Releasing six catches (three on each side), remove equipped vetrootboynikom cover (A) luggage.
  2. Remove the support bracket (B) on the left wall vetrootboynika luggage.
  3. On models corresponding complete set (code V53) Remove the left glovebox.
  4. On models corresponding complete set remove the TV-tuner (A2 / 42), - code EM9 and CD-changer (A2 / 6) - ER5 code (see. Section Removal and installation CD-changer / TV-tuner).
  5. Give fixing nuts (3) Disconnect the connector (X26 / 26 and 4) and remove the control module BA (N62).
  6. Installation is in the reverse order.
  7. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

The control unit for seat heating (code H11)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  2. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  3. Releasing six catches (three on each side), remove equipped vetrootboynikom cover (A) luggage.
  4. Remove the support bracket (B) on the left wall vetrootboynika luggage.
  5. On models corresponding complete set (code V53) Remove the left glovebox.
  6. On models corresponding complete set remove the TV-tuner (A2 / 42), - code EM9 and CD-changer (A2 / 6) - ER5 code (see. Section Removal and installation CD-changer / TV-tuner).
  7. Give fixing nuts (1) Disconnect the connector (3) and remove the control module (N25 / 6).
  8. Installation is in the reverse order - on the model of the corresponding configuration (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  9. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and enter the required basic settings avionics.

Control module voice commands Linguatronic (codes EL1 ÷ EL6)

  1. Bend the panel carpet in the driver's footswitch well.
  2. If necessary lift finishing panel (4) and release nut (1).
  3. Remove the control module Linguatronic (A35 / 11), complete with support bracket (2).
  4. Release and disunite sockets (5 and 6), - immediately stop the input waveguide fiber cable D2V special plugs.
  5. Give fixing nuts (3) and remove the control module (A35 / 11).
  6. Installation is in the reverse order.
  7. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

Amplifier audio control module (code E66)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Slide the raised driver's seat forward until it stops.
  1. Turn off the ignition, activate the auxiliary battery and connect it to a standard battery, then disconnect the negative cable last.

    9 - negative terminal wire module
    W10 - Ground Battery

  1. Disconnect the connector (1).
  2. Give nuts (2) and remove the bracket (3) with the attached amplifier (N40 / 9).
  3. Remove the mounting screws (4) and remove the amplifier (N40 / 9) from the console (3).
  4. Installation is in the reverse order.
  5. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).

SRS control module

Model release of 30.11.01

W26 - Grounding Module

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  2. Remove the center console (see chap. Body).
  3. Disconnect from the control unit (N2 / 2) wiring, - try to remember the wiring diagram weight (W26)
  4. Remove the screws and remove the module (N2 / 2).
  5. Installation is in the reverse order - marked with an arrow on the housing module installed must point forward while moving.
  6. Finally, make a program data input SRS.

Models of release since 01/12/01

Details of installation of the module of management SRS (N2 / 2) on models with the release of 01.12.01

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the control unit from the towing protection devices (see. Above).
  2. Disconnect the electrical wiring, release fasteners, and remove the control module SRS (N2 / 2), - try to remember the wiring diagram weight (W26).
  3. Installation is in the reverse order.
  4. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
