Removal and installation of wall panel sections of the dashboard console



Details of installation of facing of the central / console dashboard section

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  2. Turn the selector AT lever to position ?�D?�.
  3. Disconnect the negative wire from the battery.
  4. Remove the switch assembly locking differentials (N30 / 2) (see chap. Onboard electric equipment) and, without disconnecting the wiring, set it aside.
  5. Remove the bolt (3) and remove the retaining plate (2).
  6. Open the front ashtray and remove the facing panel (1), which first slide it down, then pull out.
  7. Disconnect the connector (N22) electrical activation button K / B, and finally remove the panel (1).
  8. Installation is in the reverse order - with the appropriate configuration (code ET2) deactivate service mode of TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  9. Finally, make the DTC reading and clearing of system memory on-board self-diagnostic scanner using STAR DIAGNOSIS (6511 1801 00) (see chap. Systems of an electric motor) and enter the required basic settings avionics.
