Removal and installation of cooler ATF



Details of installation of cooler ATF (except models 463.246)

1 - Bolting choke connector
2 - The hollow bolt couplings

3 - Nuts cooler ATF
4 - cooler ATF

Details of installation of cooler ATF (model 463.246)

1 - Bolting choke connector
2 - The hollow bolt couplings
3 - Nuts cooler ATF

4 - cooler ATF
5 - Support bracket

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Remove the protection casing (except model 463.246).
  2. Drain the ATF (see chap. Current care and maintenance).
  3. Release union nut (1) choke connector on the cooler (4), - ready to collect spilled liquid.
  4. Remove the banjo bolt (2) couplings on the cooler (4), - ready to collect spilled liquid.
  5. Release nuts (3) securing the oil cooler (4).
  6. On models 463.266 (G55 AMG) pull from the cooler (4) the support bracket (5).
  7. Remove the cooler (4), - ready to collect spilled liquid.
  8. Installation is in the reverse order.
