Removal and installation of the electronic transmission control module (TCM / ETC)



Installation Details TCM

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. On models corresponding complete set (code ET2) activate the service mode of the emergency call TELE AID (see. Section Activate / deactivate the service mode of the emergency call AID TELE).
  2. Turn off the ignition and remove the key.
  3. Connect a standard auxiliary battery pack, and then disconnect the negative cable.
  4. Remove the center console (see chap. Body).
  5. Disconnect the wiring (2). Give nuts (1), remove the TCM (N15 / 3) with the mounting bolts, and then post it along the side of the passenger foot well.
  6. Installation is in the reverse order - the replacement of the module should copy the information from the old TCM (use the scanner STAR DIAGNOSIS).
  7. Finally, do not forget to deactivate the service mode of TELE AID and clean the processor memory board self-diagnostic system (see chap. Systems of an electric motor).
