Adjusting the level of refrigerant

When replacing components other than the compressor

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To adjust the amount of refrigerant after replacing the evaporator, condenser or receiver-dryer, add compressor oil amount equal to the amount of refrigerant and deflated respectively 35, 15 or 5 cm 3. When replacing two or more components are added together only additional amounts, but amounts of refrigerant deflated.

When replacing the compressor

PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Drain compressor oil from the ports of high and low pressure compressor removed and measure the amount of oil.
  1. Drain the oil from the new compressor capacity (A), calculated according to the formula A = 60 - B - C. In this formula, B is the amount received in the previous paragraph, and C is the amount of oil released from the system with the refrigerant in the discharge system.
