Removing and installing refrigerant lines and compressor K / V



The compounds of the refrigerant lines


PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. Before disconnecting the discharge line of the refrigerant system K / V in a specialized workshop.
  2. The compounds of the refrigerant lines are shown in the illustration above. After removing the hoses and tubes replace their seals.
  1. Remove the air duct (see chap. Power supply system and exhaust system), and disconnect the electrical compressor K / V.
  1. Give fixture of flexible hoses to the compressor and disconnect them. Plug the openings.

In the illustration in paragraph 3, a compressor models without automatic A / C service. On models with automatic A / C service hoses are bolted.


  1. Remove compressor drive belt (see chap. Engine), turn its screws) and remove the compressor from under the car.
  1. Installation is in the reverse order. After installation, check and adjust the tension of the compressor belt (see chap. Adjustment and car routine maintenance).
