Starting from the auxiliary battery

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect the terminal of the red start cable to the positive pole of the discharged battery.
2. The other terminal of the red start cable connected to the positive pole of the additional (starter) batteries.
3. Connect the black jump cable terminal to the negative pole of the additional battery.
4. The other terminal of black cable to the bolt or bracket on the cylinder block to start the engine at a sufficient distance from the extra battery.
5. Make sure that the starter cables are laid at a sufficient distance from the fan, belts and other moving parts and can not come into contact with them.
6. Start the engine from the additional battery, move to idle and disconnect the cables in the reverse order.

When starting the engine from the auxiliary battery, observe the following precautions:

Before connecting the auxiliary battery, make sure the ignition is off.

Make sure that all consumers (headlights, heater, wipers, etc.) Are disconnected.

Make sure that the rated voltage of the additional battery is the same as that of the battery in your car.

If the engine is started up by a battery installed on another car, the car body must not come into contact.

Make sure that the check point control lever is in neutral (or in position Park if the vehicle is equipped with an automatic transmission).
