Removing the crankshaft



PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the oil pan, the chain (or chains) and a flywheel.
2. Remove the connecting rods with pistons.

A warning

If pistons and connecting rods are no repair work will not be performed, then remove the cylinder head and connecting rod and piston group is not necessary. Pistons should be a push towards the combustion chambers.


3. Check the axial play of the crankshaft (see. Subsection 3.1.2.9.2), and then follow the steps below.
4. Remove the bolts and remove the holder of a back epiploon. With the weakening of the guide pins, remove them and store together with the holder.
5. The main bearing caps are to be numbered from 1 to 5, since the front cover (arrows). If the numbers are not available, then apply white paint marks that match the serial number of the cover and determine its orientation.
6. In the reverse order shown in the figure, remove the bolts main bearing caps, making 1/2 turn for the reception. Remove the bolts.
7. Remove the cover and remove the main bearing shells. Glue the ribbon each pad to the corresponding cover.
8. Carefully remove the crankshaft, and the displacement of the upper main bearing shells are not allowed.
9. Remove the cylinder from the upper root inserts. Glue the ribbon each pad to the corresponding cover. Remove persistent half rings of a third liner.
