Exhaust system



On vehicles without a catalytic converter exhaust system consists of three sections - a reception pipe, the intermediate section with the cavity and the end section with a silencer.

On vehicles with a catalytic converter exhaust system consists of 4 sections - the same three sections and section converter. On the set of the car the two converter, one of which attaches to the collector.

The entire length of the exhaust pipe suspended by rubber mounts flanged pipe.

Withdrawal

Each of the sections can be disassembled independently. You can also remove the entire system at once.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift the car and establish on supports (or zaedte on pit or rack).
Front Pipe
2. On cars with catalytic converter, disconnect the connector from the exhaust gas sensor. Remove the wiring from the brackets.
3. Remove the nuts to the collector and bolt to the bracket, disconnect the pipe from the reservoir, remove the gasket.
4. Dismantle the flanged connection to the intermediate section, and remove the tube and gasket.
Neutralizer (in the vehicle)
5. Remove the two nuts and two bolts securing the exhaust flange to the converter.
6. Remove the two screws on the intermediate pipe to the converter.
7. Remove the converter from front exhaust pipe and remove.
8. Remove the gasket.
Intermediate pipe
9. On cars with catalytic converter, unscrew the two screws of the intermediate pipe to the converter and remove the gasket.
10. On cars without catalytic converter, unscrew the two screws and two bolts, remove the spring and remove the intermediate pipe from front exhaust pipe. Remove the gasket.
11. On all cars Remove the bolt rubber cushion in the rear portion of the intermediate pipe.
12. Remove the two mounting bolts of the intermediate pipe to the terminal tailpipe.
13. Remove the intermediate pipe and the gasket.

14. Remove the two screws to the intermediate pipe.
15. Release the stretch and lift section.
Removal of the entire system
16. On cars with catalytic converter, disconnect the connector from the exhaust gas sensor.
17. Remove the nuts securing front exhaust pipe to a collector and bolt to the bracket, disconnect the pipe from the reservoir, remove the gasket.
18. Working with an assistant, remove the rubber mounts from the system and remove from the vehicle.
Heat shields
19. Shields are installed on the car parts between the body and exhaust pipes and secured with nuts, bolts and clamps.

Setting

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is performed in reverse order.
2. Before assembly, replace the gaskets and clean the split surface.
3. Check the condition of pillows, and replace if necessary.
4. Make sure that between the pipes, and the bottom parts of suspensions are sufficient gaps.
