1. Warm up the engine, check the idle speed, turn off the ignition. |
Carbureted engines |
2. Disconnect the hose from the vacuum regulator (hose or pressure sensors on engines with catalytic converter), plug the hose. |
3. Connect the strobe in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. |
4. Start the engine and direct the light on the crankshaft pulley. At idle illuminated label must be aligned with the pointer. |
5. If necessary, adjust the release bolts distributor and turn the distributor housing to align the mark with a pointer. |
6. Tighten the bolts and recheck the installation of ignition. |
7. Check the operation of a centrifugal regulator, which ensure that an increase in engine speed range of the pulley on the crown as it moves "forward" with respect to the index, and at lower rpm to idle illuminated label should again be opposite the index. |
8. Attach the hoses and make sure that the ignition was earlier and the timing angle is correct. |
9. Otherwise, defective vacuum regulator (pressure sensor or pressure), or there is a leak in the hose. |
10. Stop the engine and disconnect a stroboscope. |
Injection engine |
11. Disconnect from the gauge valve. |
12. Check and adjust the ignition (see. Pp. 3-5). |
13. Stop the engine and disconnect a stroboscope. |
14. Connect the connector to the throttle sensor. |
