Replacement of spark plugs in cars without catalytic converter

Cost and quality of the traction motor is largely dependent on the condition of the spark plugs. The type should match the recommended, in this case care candles between their replacement is generally not required. Cleaning the spark is rarely required, and in the absence of the necessary equipment to clean the candles should not avoid breakage of electrodes.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If no high voltage wiring lugs marks indicating the belonging to a given cylinder, then put a mark from 1 to 4 (1st cylinder is located by the timing circuit). Disconnect the wires holding the tip, not the cord.
2. Before you turn out the candles recommended to remove dirt from the grooves next to candles with a clean brush, vacuum or compressed air, to avoid getting dirt into the cylinders.
3. Remove the spark plug wrench special or ring spanner or face head with extension. When loosening hold head strictly axially candles Otherwise, the misalignment of the head may break the porcelain insulator. Candles are advised to check the following procedure.
4. In appearance, the candle can accurately determine the condition of the engine. If the skirt candle clean and white, and in it there is no plaque, it indicates a lean fuel mixture, or the fact that the insulator candles glowed (glowing candle bad removes heat from the electrode, and a candle on a cold heat is removed quickly).
5. If the insulator and the electrode coated with candles solid deposits of black, this indicates pereobogaschenie combustible mixture. Massive oily deposits indicate that the engine is worn out or worked at pereobogaschenie mixture.
6. If the skirt is covered with a touch of sand or reddish-brown color, the engine is in good condition and the optimum composition of the mixture
7. The electrode gap is of particular importance - by increasing or decreasing the gap against the rules will change significantly the size of the spark gap and spark ignition propensity. It is best to set the gap between the electrodes indicated in section 2.1.
8. Before adjusting the probe to measure the gap and bend (or bend) the outer electrode to produce the desired gap. The central electrode to bend prohibited as an insulator candles can crack that will cause serious damage.
9. In order to measure and adjust the clearance sale is a special device.
10. Before installing the spark ensure the strength of the threaded pins of the central electrode and clean the threads of candles and the insulator using a segment of rubber hose to wrap candles straight.
11. Remove the rubber hose and tighten the spark plug with a torque wrench with a special face head. Wrap the rest of the candles.
12. Connect the high-voltage wires in the same order, install all the removed parts.
